The story of a computer network security engineer at a major mid-western University. Trying to beat back the hackers, put out fires, keep up with all the latest technology and somehow be clever about it. I will post when I feel I can add something clever, interesting or helpful to a general audience. I enjoy other things, like Minecraft, The Long Dark, sketching with pencil, ink drawings, reading science fiction and movies.

The Security Implications of URL Shortening Services
Perhaps there is a market for a URL shortening service that does some rudementary security scan of the target URL?
